“You Have to SLEEP with Me”: Who’s That South Director?

Niti Taylor Reveals South Director Casting Couch Experience

Niti Taylor, who is familiar to Telugu audiences through films like Mem Vayasuku Vacham directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkineni, has made shocking allegations about an uncomfortable experience she faced while working in South Indian cinema.

The actress revealed that a director who had previously worked with her allegedly made an inappropriate demand when he approached her for another film.

Recalling the incident, Niti said the director contacted her after completing their first film together. However, his conversation took an unexpected turn when he allegedly told her, “You have to sleep with me this time.”

Niti admitted that she was left shocked and did not know how to react to the demand. She said she had never expected such behavior from someone she had already worked with professionally.

The actress further revealed that she immediately blocked the director and contacted her mother after the conversation. She decided not to pursue another film with him.

“Imagine that old man,” she reportedly said while recalling the incident. Niti also claimed that she had seen the director behave similarly with other people but never expected to face such a situation herself.

The incident left such a deep impression on her that she decided against working in South Indian films again.

Niti’s revelation has once again brought the issue of casting couch, inappropriate demands and the abuse of professional power in the film industry into focus. Actors often depend on directors and producers for career opportunities, making it difficult to deal with situations involving alleged misconduct.

However, the director’s identity has not been established. Since she has worked in just 2-3 films in the South, your guess is as good as ours.
