Director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdhary passed away due to heart attack at his residence. Ravi Kumar made his debut as a director with Gopichand’s Yagnam.
He later made Veerabhadra with Balakrishna. This was followed by Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitam with Sai Dharam Tej. His last film was Tiragabadara Sami.

Some of his films didn’t do well at the box office like Soukhyam, Aatadistha and few others.
He has been living alone for some time now and is survived by his wife and children. AS Ravi Kimar is said to be suffering from serious illness for a while.

Though most of his films failed to entice the audiences, there were some popular songs that stayed with music lovers. He had a mixed bag of successes and flops. Despite this, he was actively involved in new projects and scripts.
The Telugu Directors’ Association expressed their condolences on the death of Ravi Kumar. Many in the industry are shocked by his death and remember him as a humble person true to his craft.
