We know that our Hindu Gods and Goddesses have animals and birds as their celestial vehicles. Garuda, is the celestial vehicle of Lord Venkateshwara of Tirupati. We know how sacred is the bird considered and what regard it gets being the celestial carrier of the Lord.

Tirupati Airport which is going to be inaugurated by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd October resembles the celestial bird as if the bird is about to take off with its wings widespread. This commonness between Tirupati and Tirupati airport is being highlighted by Airport Authority of India.
Besides the design resembling Garuda, a statue of a man resembling Garuda is installed in the airport lounge speaks apparent philosophy of life embedded into the making of the statue. The building, the design, the statue and the entire venue is being readied for the D-Day in an aesthetic manner using exotic flowers and other arrangements to making it a grand event.
