Both the films have been bought for huge distribution prices respective to the stardom and genre at hand. Usually, like we have seen in with recent Sankranthi releases, the film arrive with a day gap and that is not a big problem. It is so because the Sankranthi holidays give them that space as cover the entire week.

For example, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu didn’t mind the second release or for that matter Yevadu arriving on Sunday. The Sankranthi holiday spread back then allowed them the luxury to arrive later. This year, unfortunately, that is not the case as Sankranthi festival spread is over the weekend itself. It means one doesn’t get the additional advantage of the rest of the week. It has to be taken before release itself. To be precise get the first solo release and have a big opening day.

And that is why, both the films are playing suspense game with the release date. They individually are looking to arrive first and have the solo release. That is if Gautamiputra Satakarni wants to arrive on January 12 it can. But then Khaidi No 150 is ready to arrive on January 11 to take the solo opening advantage. GPS unit is not ready to give that advantage and is ready for a clash if they don’t get first solo release advantage. It has created a deadlock kind of scenario. As of now, a clash looks inevitable. Let us see if there is any change in the coming days with any unit ready to take a backseat.
