An RTI query filed by an activist unearthed the shocking price valuation of the land. The 2,000 sq.ft of land had been allotted to the actress for setting up dance academy as per revised policy of the government. As per government policy, the land shall be valued at 25 per cent of the rates prevailing in 1976. In 1976, the square feet cost around Rs 350 and as per policy guidelines, 25% cost around Rs. 87.50 per square feet.
Hema Malini paid advance of Rs.10 lakhs and the government need to reimburse Rs.8.25lakhs to actress. People are surprised to know the benefits of BJP supporters enjoying in Modi government.
