Thus far, the openings of Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter have been the best numbers for any film in the North Indian belt for 2024. The film collected a nett of 20.50 crore on its opening day in the Hindi belt.
Now, this number is set to be surpassed comfortably by Prabhas’s big ticket outing Kalki. The latest box office updates are suggesting that Kalki would be posting the best numbers of 2024 in the Hindi belt.
As opposed to earlier expectations that the film would open in the range of 15 crore in Hindi, it is on course to start with a Rs 22+ crore number here. The number could go further up if the evening shows are good.
But there’s a catch here is there is the game between India and England later in the evening. It has to be seen if the game would take away any box office prospects from Kalki on its opening day run in the Hindi belt.
The reasonably decent response, the existing vacuum in the Indian belt, and the starry cast could work the trick for the film at the box office.
