Ahmed Mohamed is a 14 years old teen studying at MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas. Ahmed is known for his innovative thinking with science. One fine day he made an alarm clock by himself. But it resembled closely to a bomb and adding to that the usual Islam doubt forced the school to suspend him.

He was further handcuffed by police officers alleging that he is making a fake bomb. However the issue went whirlwind on social media and reflected in the media across the globe. Finally it reached Obama too and he called out to Ahmed.
“Cool clock, Ahmed,” President Obama said on Twitter. “Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.” The President’s staff invited Ahmed to the White House for Astronomy Night on October 19. The white house hosts an event that day which brings together scientists, engineers, astronauts, teachers and students to spend a night there.
