Ravi Teja is set to portray the renowned and equally celebrated real-life bandit, ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao, in an upcoming biopic written and directed by Vamsee.
Tiger Nageswara Rao aims to shed light on and celebrate the life and times of this audacious outlaw, who gained legendary status in modern Telugu pop culture through a series of daring exploits, commencing in his hometown of Stuartpuram.
If inside reports are to be believed then director Vamsee has also explored the sexual side of Nageswara Rao in the film which will be a treat for a section of the audience.
In the trailer, Tiger was shown visiting brothels. He even speaks in double-meaning dialogues with the heroines Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bharadwaj. However, there is a section of the audience who feels how can such things be shown in a biopic.
In Tollywood, we have seen many times in the past that makers have shown characters and scenes with sexual undertones in biopics. Despite being a devotional biopic, Balakrishna’s Pandurangadu had a lot of scenes that were quite sexual in nature.
However, if such scenes are handled well by the director, the masses are going to like watching them on the big screen adding merit to its box office potential.
