Avunu actress Poorna might not have envisioned herself landing in a biggie like Mahesh -Koratala Siva’s movie. The film tentatively titled Srimanthudu just wrapped up the second schedule and next schedule will commence from 28th of this month. Movie comes with a loaded star cast while Shruti Haasan is playing Mahesh Babu’s love interest, Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad and Brahmanandam playing key roles. Apparently Koratala is on a hunt for an actress who can perform some traditional and classical dance moves for a song in rural backdrop. Poorna comes with Kathak background which made her land in a first bigge in Telugu. Koratala confirmed Poorna after going through several choices for this special song.
Shamna Kasim changed her stage name as Poorna is currently busy with several movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Poorna’s upcoming film in Telugu is Avunu- 2, directed by Ravi Babu is a sequel to the 2012 hit film Avunu.
