Speaking on this, Gautami gave some clarifications. as they are two matured adults who took the decision and the third party has no say in such a confident and long relationship. But, it happened because of years of struggle while she was in the relationship.
She finally came out when she understood that she can’t take the struggle anymore. So, it was completely personal and between the two individuals involved. Gautami didn’t give the entire credit to Kamal Haasan who supported her when she was suffering with cancer. She took the names of her close friends and family who had been a pillar of support during her illness.
