Jagapathi, who once ruled the roost as a romantic hero, candidly admits he’s not hero material anymore as he has aged. Although, he wouldn’t mind playing lead roles again but feels he’s more suitable for character roles going forwards as he has prepared himself for such roles in his second innings.
Jagapthi also said that he would like to dedicate his second innings to his family, who now have great expectations from him, especially after he sold their house recently. He feels it is time for him to earn for his family, wife and daughter, who have stood by him through thick and thin. While he is playing a villian in Balayya’s Legend, he also has important roles in two films such as ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ and ‘Ra Ra Krishnayya’.
He says he won’t stop with this and take up as many character roles that satisfy him as possible. He feels it’s time for him to prove once again as an actor.
