tom-holland-mumbai-indiaThe paparazzi culture has caught up in India. A celebrity simply can’t go out without getting clicked by 10s of cameras. And in case there’s an event, the action from these camera crew will be out of this world.

Now, the Indian paparazzi and camera media have insulated world famous actor, Tom Holland, of Spider-Man, and Avengers fame when he came to India to attend Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre event in Mumbai.

Before entering the venue, Holland walked the red carpet, and this is when Indian media crossed the line. In order to grab Tom’s attention to get him to pose to their cameras, the men started “what kind of a Spider-Man are you? Start posing like a real Spider-Man now.”(in Hindi).

Shooting random Hindi sentences at a foreign film superstar will only put bad light on Indian media globally. Netizens are fuming on the responsible paparazzi and media people for their unnecessarily offensive actions.

“When our RRR team went to USA, their media was so warm and welcome for them. They spoke highly of Indian cinema and gave good coverage to our stars. But when a foreign star comes to India, is this the way we treat them?” A netizen pointed out.
