Rajamouli recently revealed that he will start shooting for much anticipated Telugu project Baahubali will kick start on July 6, on the same day Eega released a year back. Is he going to start shooting on the same day because Eega released on the same day and went on to be a blockbuster or is it just a coincidence?

So many directors have such personal sentiments. Only god knows if it will work or not because at the end of the day what matters is the content, and rest everything will go down the drain. But, if Rajamouli is doing it for sentimental reasons, then it is clearly not the Rajamouli we have known for years.
We have to wait to find out if Rajamouli discloses the reason to start the film on that day may towards the release of the film.
