IT Raids on Kollywood biggies!

The Income Tax Department sleuths today raided offices of several Kollywood biggies on the charges of Tax evasion. They have raided the houses and offices of comedian Santhanam, AM Ratnam, RB Choudary and KE Gnanvel Raja. Since all the three producers have good base in Andhra Pradesh too, their offices and guest houses here are being searched too. The search began 8 AM in the morning and is still on.

The IT department officials said to have seized several important documents and further action will be decided later. About 50 officials participated in this raid on an anonymous complaint of production houses using unaccounted money for film production.
