Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is known for several religious controversies in the past, just averted one more controversy. As every political party, YSRCP also celebrated Ugadi and even arranged the Panchanga Sravanam.
Jagan who was actively in media for the last couple of days suddenly gave it a miss surprising every one. His mother Vijayamma attended the Panchanga Sravanam and she is seen totally uninvolved in the proceedings there. Through out the sravanam, she is seen looking some where or other paying no attention to the Pandit. As the news slowly started spreading in social media and main stream media, YSRCP leaders were seen hurriedly reaching out to Jagan and brought him to the celebrations venue in the last minute.
It is known that Jagan’s family belongs to Christian Faith. Various actions of Jagan in the past like entering Tirupati Queue lines with chappals, not giving declaration before entering temples created a huge uproar. Some analysts even that too much ‘Christian’ actions of Jagan and Vijayamma worked against the party in the last elections.
