The buzz around a possible postponement of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 from its October 15 release date is growing stronger in Telugu trade circles. However, there is still no official confirmation from the makers, and the film continues to be associated with the same release date.
If Jailer 2 moves out of the Dasara race, it could open up an interesting possibility for Venkatesh’s Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47-AK47. The film, which is currently scheduled for October 2, could be pushed by a week and positioned closer to the Dasara festival.
Such a move would also give AK47 a better gap from Nani’s The Paradise, which is arriving on September 24. From a trade perspective, getting closer to the festival could be a more attractive option, especially if the October 15 slot becomes available.
At the same time, it is worth noting that the AK47 shift is still a developing situation, while the Jailer 2 postponement remains unconfirmed. The next few days could therefore be crucial for the Dasara release calendar, with one change potentially triggering further adjustments.
