Director Trivikram Srinivas, known for family entertainers and punch dialogues, seems to be planning a major shift in his career. For years, he has delivered successful films centered on family emotions, relationships, and entertainment. Now, he is looking to move beyond that space and explore large-scale mythological and pan-India projects.
At present, he is working on Adarsha Kutumbam House No. 47, starring Venkatesh. Many believe this could be his last film in the regular family-commercial zone. Cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran revealed that a month-long schedule has been completed, with around 40% of the shoot done. The team is currently targeting an October 2 release.
The film stars Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, with Yogi Babu and Satya in key roles. It is expected to be a proper family entertainer, staying true to Trivikram’s usual style. Music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
What’s generating more interest is what comes next. Reports suggest Trivikram wants to move away from regular family dramas and focus on mythological stories on a larger scale. Music director Thaman recently hinted that he has developed a new take on the Ramayana, exploring lesser-known aspects of the story.
Another project, God of War, is also in discussion. It is said to be based on Lord Kartikeya and planned as a large-scale mythological action film. There is already buzz around casting, with names like Jr. NTR and Allu Arjun being discussed.
Sources say Trivikram has multiple such ideas aimed at grand storytelling and pan-India appeal. This signals a clear shift from dialogue-driven family films to visually rich, large-scale narratives.
Trivikram is known to have deep knowledge of puranas, granthas, Hindu scriptures, and literature. If he can truly use that to his advantage, he can become one of the biggest pan-India directors because of his writing skills and knowledge. But things have to align and fall in place for that to happen.
We have to see how Trivikram transitions into his next phase.
