Dragon, which marks the collaboration of junior NTR and Prashanth Neel happens to be one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema. This action film is currently under production and it is preparing for release next year.
However, not associated with this project has been smoothly right from the beginning. First, it was the extreme delay in the start of the shooting process.
At one point, it was speculated that NTR had suggested multiple script changes to the final draft and that took a lot longer than expected. It was speculated that the early footage created a few doubts and they had to reshoot certain portion.
Whatever might be the reason, Dragon took much longer to fly off than what was expected. It has been well over year since the start of the production, but there is no affirmative update on the rest of the shooting.
And now something pretty significant has happened as NTR has enjoyed his shoulder and undergoing the surgery today. It should be a few weeks before he returns to action as this is a medical situation that needs to be tended.
Dragon has been facing extreme delays right from the start of the product production to this day. There are multiple contributing factors as mentioned above, and the latest is the most significant of the list as NTR himself is injured.
A few might even argue that this project is cursed by that would be an overreaction as such delays or production turbulences are still a part and parcel of the film industry.
