Jr NTR has successfully undergone surgery for his shoulder injury. The actor was operated on Wednesday, August 12, at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad, with doctors confirming that the procedure went well.
According to the health bulletin issued by KIMS, NTR recently suffered a shoulder injury and underwent close medical evaluation before doctors decided that an arthroscopic procedure would help ensure a faster and more complete recovery.
The surgery was performed by a team of orthopedic surgeons led by Dr. R. A. P. Tejaswi, Dr. Nithin Bejjanki, Dr. Madhusudhan Rao and Dr. Srinivas Rao Surapaneni.
The hospital has confirmed that NTR is currently doing fine following the surgery. He will now begin a structured rehabilitation program under medical supervision. Doctors expect the actor to make a full recovery and return to his normal self within two to three months.
NTR had reportedly sustained the injury while working on his upcoming film Dragon. Despite the injury, he had continued shooting for some time with his hand in a sling before taking a break for treatment.
The latest update should come as a relief to his fans, who have been worried about his condition. The actor is currently expected to focus entirely on recovery before returning to his packed film commitments.
With Dragon being one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema, the injury and recovery period could have an impact on its shooting schedule. For now, though, the priority is clear: NTR needs to complete his rehabilitation and get back to full fitness.
