Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala has released today and has got mixed talk everywhere. The talk in Tamil is slightly better than the Telugu version but is nowhere near what we call Rajinikanth Mania. The openings across the globe also say the same.

This result is definitely disappointing given the fact Rajinikanth is foraying into Politics and he wants to face the 2019 General Elections with a bang. Also two back to back disappointments will mean that fans will also be depressed.
Interestingly, Kaala is stuffed with Political Flavour to showcase the Superstar as the God of Masses. This is definitely intentional ahead of the long Political Journey. But a better director would have helped the cause. Further, his next with Karthik Subbaraj also does not carry much buzz
