It has been 20 long years since veteran and the most talented Kamal Haasan has done any straight Telugu film. Telugu people never consider Kamal as a hero from other language. Any film from Kamal Haasan is like a straight film for Telugu audience. His fans ar eagerly waiting for Kamal to star in a straight Telugu film. There had been a news making rounds that Kamal accepted to do a film in Telugu. And Kamal Haasan himself put all the rumours at rest by updating his Telugu film’s status.
Kamal confirmed that he has been in discussions with a few directors in Telugu but nothing is confirmed yet. He is so eager to do a straight Telugu film that he is going to do the film under his own Raaj Kamal Films Interantional (RKFI). He says further details will be revealed either by him or by producer Kumar Babu. This confirmation from Kamal means that one can expect a Telugu film from him very soon may be by the end of this year or atleast in the new year. Would that film be director’s Teja’s film for which Kamal himself came up with a story as Teja said? We have to wait till next update.
