Kamal Haasan has opened up about one of his dear projects called Marudanayagam, which was shelved many years ago due to lack of finances. In a recent interview he said that this project might happen and he says he plays get finances for the same from outside India.
He said Even I want to know when it will happen. Unfortunately, I won’t get the budget from local producers here. It is not a local film, but a film to be made in three languages — Tamil, French and English. But, it can be revived any moment. He also clarified on his Hollywood project with popular producer Barry Osbourne. He said the project will definitely happen but in due course of time as he’s currently busy with his own projects.
About the release of Vishwaroopam 2 and Uttama Villain, he said “for the first time in 20 years, I have two films almost ready to release at the same time. The post-production work in Vishwaroopam 2 is nearing completion”. This could mean that both the films are likely to release this year and that’s great news for all his fans.
