The trailer of the most anticipated Dhanush-starrer Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, was launched yesterday at a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad.
Since the first-look posters of Kuberaa, many people on social media compared it to Vijay Antony’s Bichagadu (Pichaikkaran in Tamil) which was released in the year 2016, due to Dhanush playing the role of a beggar.

However, following Kuberaa’s teaser and trailer, it was evident that Kuberaa’s plot is different from Bichagadu’s plot as the core plot of Kuberaa seems to revolve around a scam involving beggars.
After the trailer’s release, not a single person on social media drew Bichagadu references with Kuberaa, as both the trailer and teaser promised a fresh plot.

Kuberaa is generating huge expectations among audiences, and the trailer is receiving super positive responses, further increasing the hype for the movie.
Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether Kuberaa satisfies audience expectations and emerges as a blockbuster success upon its release on June 20th.
