And coming to the campaign of parties, Congress is at the bottom with almost heading towards a washout from the region. Many of its candidates even did not take the pain of campaigning. Chiranjeevi tried his might to push the party’s chances but in vain. On the other side, YSR Congress had fielded all YSR’s family members on roads to propel the sympathy factor. The party was successful in polarizing Christian votes through the Churches. Their TV ad campaigns were also effectively made to stir the sentiment in people. But the cadre and leaders were highly discouraged by the negative result foretold by Lagadapati Raja Gopal.

Telugu Desam Party on the other side were buoyed by the success of Narendra Modi, Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan meetings. Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan went on whirlwind tours to ensure victory in their strongholds. The Parties TV ad campaigns attracted middle class voters and the cadre is on high with the positive result from Lagadapati’s Survey.
