Reports are that Sankranthi Biggies are likely to get Six Shows Permission in Andhra Pradesh. Even though it is formally six, in some centers, exhibitors do screen even seven shows per day. But then, that may be difficult for this Sankranthi. But Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo are lengthy films.
Sarileru Neekevvaru is at 169 minutes, while Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is 165 minutes long. Lengthy films make things tough to screen more shows in a day. Another Sankranthi film, Darbar is 159 minutes long and the least among the Sankranthi releases is Entha Manchivaadavura which is around 142 minutes.
As much as 225 Crore is riding on these films for this Sankranthi. All the four heroes – Rajinikanth, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Kalyan Ram are in dire need of a big hit. Even though Mahesh Babu and Kalyan Ram have delivered decent films with their last movies, they are desperately in need of a big hit.
