Lion springs a surprise

Nandamuri Balakrishna Lion has sprung a surprise trade wise. The film which released to poor reviews and word of mouth has surprised the trade by getting second biggest ever opening for the hero.

So what made this big opening possible despite some issues with release? Many say that lack of a proper mass movie in the summer and Lion filling the void has led to this numbers. They also suggest that one shouldn’t be surprised if the film remains relativity stable at lower ends in mass centers due to this factor alone.

Fans of course who feel the disappointment have moved to the next film Dictator that is going to get started in a fortnight from now.
