On May 26, Israeli air forces bombed a tented area in Rafah, Gaza, killing at least 45 people. This attack, despite a UN order to stop, has sparked global outrage.
The phrase “All Eyes on Rafah” has flooded social media. On Instagram, an AI-generated image depicting Rafah has been shared over 33 million times. The image shows tents forming the words “All Eyes on Rafah,” highlighting the refugee camps in southern Gaza.

Many celebrities, including Samantha, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Rashmika Mandanna, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Verma, and Kriti Kharbanda, have posted on social media condemning Israel’s attack on Rafah.
Mahesh Babu’s 11-year-old daughter, Sitara, also shared the post and faced harsh criticism. Trolls questioned her understanding of the situation, accused her father of not giving her enough pocket money, and threatened to boycott his movies if the post wasn’t removed. Sitara eventually deleted it.

Many on social media believe that some actresses sharing the “All Eyes on Rafah” poster don’t even know what the issue is all about. Some mocked these actresses for being so dumb that they post it just to appear woke or cool, with some thinking it might be related to some concert or a Malayalam movie.
Ritika Sajdeh, wife of cricketer Rohit Sharma, posted the same “All Eyes on Rafah” message but deleted it after facing heavy backlash and trolling. She was criticized for ignoring Indian issues and mocked for not knowing where Rafah was.
