Manushi Chhillar

Manushi Chhillar made India proud in 2017 by winning the Miss World Pageant. We’ve seen past Miss World winners like Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra shine in Bollywood. Manushi had high hopes for her filmy career after her win.

Her first movie, “Samrat Prithviraj,” seemed like a dream start, starring opposite Akshay Kumar in a historical epic. Unfortunately, it bombed badly and became one of Bollywood’s biggest post-pandemic flops. Her next film, “The Great Indian Family,” also turned out to be a huge flop.

Then she made her debut in Tollywood with “Operation Valentine,” starring Varun Tej. But her career in Tollywood ended even before it started as the film turned out to be an epic disaster.

Now her latest film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, has also turned out to be a colossal disaster. In the film, Manushi plays Captain Misha who helps the heroes fight against Prithviraj Sukumaran who is hell-bent on destroying India.

Manushi in the film looks stylish but her performance is quite bland and wooden. Despite being good in some action scenes, Manushi overall fails to deliver again.

Many Indian Miss World pageant winners had a dream debut in Indian cinema. But Manushi gets the worst kind of debut with continuous four disasters within a span of two years.
