The second single from highly awaited Tamil film Mersal (Adirindi in Telugu) is out. AR Rahman provides the music, but somehow it is not working in increasing the already existing buzz.

The combination of director Atlee and Vijay after the super success of Theri is the reason for huge expectations of the movie Mersal. With Rahman on board the expectations increased further, but so far the star musician has not been able to live up to them. The two singles released so far are alright, they are not bad, but they don’t have the chartbuster quality as well.
Mersal is the big Diwali treat from Vijay. It is the biggest budgeted movie in the stars career and releases in Telugu simultaneously along with Tamil version. Samantha, Kajal, and Nithya Menen are the female leads. SJ Suryah plays the antagonist.
