A few years ago, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were hailed as the millennial couple. People even claimed that they are what couple goals are made of. However, Samantha and Chaitanya’s divorce last year shocked many. And then started the incessant trolling of the couple on social media. While Chay chose to keep his calm and ignored the rumors, Sam gave befitting replies to it all.
As a part of the promotional campaign for his upcoming film Thank You, Naga Chaitanya posted some pics on his social media handle where he thanked some of the most important people in his life.
Chaitanya posted a picture with his mama, Lakshmi Daggubati, and thanked her for rooting for him from time to time. He also posted a picture with his dad Nagarjuna and thanked him for being his best friend. And last but not least, he thanked Hash – for making him feel, showing him how to love, and just keeping him human.
For the unversed, Hash is a pet dog he had adopted along with his ex-wife Samantha when they were together. Hash is now living with Samantha. Last year in November, Samantha had celebrated Hash’s third birthday also.
People on social media say that Chaitanya must still be missing Samantha in his life. However, since he cannot take her name publicly now, he is giving hints by mentioning their dog, Hash.
Some Chay-Sam fans were seen getting emotional about how they still miss seeing the couple together. They wished that things could have worked out, and both stayed together. Some were commenting that Hash is the symbol of their love, and Chay is thanking Samantha indirectly by mentioning Hash in his post.
Chaitanya will be playing the role of a hockey player in Thank You. Raashi Khanna, Avika Gor, Malavika Nair will be seen as the leading ladies in the film. Produced by Dil Raju and directed by Manam fame Vikram Kumar, Thank You is all set to release on July 22.
