Naga Chaitanya‘s latest movie, Thank You, turned out to be an absolute disaster at the box office. Even critically, the film was panned for its outdated content and dull narration.
Recently Chay was giving an interview on YouTube as a part of the promotions of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. The interviewer asked him if there was any genuine criticism about his performance that he felt he needed to act upon.
Without blinking even once, Chay immediately replied that the response to his recent film Thank You from his fans taught him that he is getting typecast in these love stories and family drama films.
Though he got great appreciation from these kinds of films, he has now realized that the audience has gotten bored of seeing him doing these roles, and it’s high time that he explored different characters and shades.
Looks like the failure of Thank You has hit Chay hard, and he is determined to change the choice of his roles and films in the coming days. Let’s see if we will see a new Naga Chaitanya in the near future.
