There are stars like Nithiin, Sai Dharam Tej, Ram and Naga Chaitanya in the second league along with Nani. Just a year back Nani was reeling at the bottom but one film, Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi changed all that, and he hasn’t looked back ever since.
The biggest change in the last two films is the openings. They have doubled. It could be the effect of the market, and for that, we have to wait for the films of other heroes to release. It is why Nani is running ahead currently but not the winner yet. In August, most of that other stars will have releases, and that will further give clarity.
The biggest positive for Nani is the pace of the movies and the appreciation he is getting in them. It is helping him in penetrating among the masses. It is a double-edged sword, and Nani needs to be careful of fatigue like it happened with Majnu. But the show must go on, and that’s the only way to further cement the position.
Ninnu Kori is having a rocking weekend in the Telugu states as well as the US. The improvement locally has made Nani a bigger force, and this universal appeal is what needs to be improved further to reach to the top. Nani’s next is a Dil Raju production, and it is bound to open big. The ball is now in the other star’s court to prove their worth.
