Two legends, one who has just had a phenomenal hit in his kitty and another who has made a historic film proving that the Tamil cinema is capable of making films of huge magnitude.
Well, the latest from Kollywood is that Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam will be coming together once again, after a gap of 35 years. So, the big question now is will the pair be able to create the sensation that their earlier pairing Nayakan had created in Indian cinema?
Nayakan is considered one of the best films to be ever made, so the expectations from the legendary combo of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are humongous.
Another thing that has surprised many is the fact that the team could maintain secrecy about the project till the last minute. There were no speculations, blind articles, or rumors about this project till it was announced officially.
The film will have music by AR Rahman, who will be composing music for Kamal Haasan after Tenali. However, it’s still a hush-hush as far as the technicians and co-stars go. In fact, even the heroine of the film hasn’t been announced as yet.
The film that is being jointly produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Films and Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies will be presented by Udayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.
