Three big films are eyeing the Dussehra festive season this year: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, Vijay-Lokesh Kangaraj’s Leo, and Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao.
Though the release is more than two months away, the tension has already started about the theater distribution of these three biggies, especially in the Nizam area.
Dil Raju has bagged the Nizam distribution rights of Bhagavanth Kesari and Leo, while Aisan Suneil Narang has grabbed the rights of Tiger Nageswara Rao.
Balakrishna fans are worried about Dil Raju giving preference to Vijay’s film over Bhagavanth Kesari due to their association during Varisu/Vaarasudu and to be in the good books of Vijay. But the relief is he has also bought Bhagavanth Kesari, so he might not be partial to Leo.
On the other hand, Ravi Teja fans are worried if Asian Suneil can get a good number of screens for the Ravi Teja-starrer. They are skeptical about Asian Suneil matching up to a shrewd distributor like Dil Raju.
Overall it is going to be an exciting battle on and off-screen this Dussehra season.
