That NOTA has failed is a well-known fact by this time. The lead actor Vijay Deverakonda has himself made that loud and clear. But, in the week of its destruction at the box office, it has helped another film.

The movie is nothing but, DevaDas starring Nagarjuna and Nani. It was released a week before NOTA. After opening well, the film crashed post the first Tuesday which was a holiday. It all looked like a done deal with NOTA’s arrival. However, with NOTA bombing, DevaDas has got a little boost again.
DevaDas has sustained well even though it is at lower levels throughout the second weekend and now the weekdays as well. The movie is going to be an underperformer, a loss venture, but before it is entirely out, it is given a lifeline to reduce some of the loses.
