Malli Pelli Malli Pelli, supposedly based on the life of Naresh and Pavitra has been riddling with controversies. Naresh’s ex-wife Ramya Raghupathi had filed a case before the film’s theatrical debut saying it demeans her character.

There are rumors that Ramya Raghupathi dished out a legal notice to Malli Pelli’s OTT streaming partners, Amazon Prime and Aha Video, asking them to stop streaming the film.

Ramya apparently mentioned that Malli Pelli is a character assassination ploy against her and that it should be taken down from public forums immediately.

Ramya had been trying to take down Malli Pelli for a while now. Her attempt before the theatrical release wasn’t successful and now, she is after the OTT version of the film.

For now, Malli Pelli is streaming on both Aha and Amazon Prime. Will these two OTT giants actually take down the film, that is of course if Ramya served them legal notices? We have to wait and watch.
