Telugu character artist Pavala Syamala, who entertained audiences with her memorable performances and comic timing, passed away on Tuesday in Hyderabad. She was undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital due to age-related health complications and other illnesses.
According to doctors at Osmania Hospital, Pavala Syamala suffered a severe heart attack at around 1:52 AM after midnight on July 28 and was declared dead. Her mortal remains have been kept at the hospital mortuary.
Pavala Syamala was a familiar face in Telugu cinema, especially known for her supporting roles that brought warmth and humor to many films. Over the years, she earned appreciation for her natural acting style and ability to connect with audiences despite playing smaller roles.
However, her final years were marked by financial struggles and health challenges. The actress had reportedly been facing severe economic difficulties along with problems related to old age. Her daughter, who lived with her, was also battling serious health issues.
