The re-release season is back in Tollywood and in fact, it is being taken up pretty seriously by the teams of the star heroes. Recently, Murari and Indra’s re-releases were expertly handled and released by the respective teams.

Now it is the turn of the last biggie to re-release in this period as Gabbar Singh is up for re-release on the 2nd of September on the occasion of Pawan’s birthday.
The team associated with the film, including Bandla Ganesh and Harish Shankar took part in the media meet ahead of Gabbar Singh’s re-release.

It could easily be argued that Gabbar Singh is the optimal re-release film as it celebrates Pawan’s first birthday after he became AP deputy CM. Also, this comes after Pawan’s films were seriously targeted by the earlier YSR Congress government. So this re-release holds significant value amongst mega fans.
But it must be said that the re-release season is better off once Gabbar Singh is done. The audience have also had enough of star hero re-releases with Gabbar, Murari and Indra.

Moreover, we have enough star hero action coming up over the due course with Devara, Pushpa 2 and Game Changer so there is no real vacuum to run after re-releases either. So, Gabbar Singh better marks the end of this season.
