Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been released globally. But before the release of film, there was a case filed by Dabangg production company owner and brother of Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan in Mumbai High Court.

The high court dismissed the Arbaaz Khan claims of copyright infringement. Arbaaz Khan Lawyer advocated that the remake rights of the film sold not only for Gabbar Singh film only but also to the entire franchise which has uniqueness. But the Gabbar Singh producers were succeeded to chart out about 17 differences between Gabbar Singh and Chulbul Pandey characters.
One of the major differences is that Gabbar Singh is fearless and honest police officer. On the other hand Chulbul pandey is fearless police officer only and he is corrupt. To which the judge was satisfied and trashed the Arbaaz claims thus making Pawan Kalyan wins in Mumbai court legally.
