Are Peddi Makers Ready for Both Scenarios in Telangana?

Peddi ticket pricing update in Telangana

As Peddi races toward its June 4 release, the conversation has shifted from trailers and promotions to something more crucial now: ticket prices and premiere show permissions.

Premiere bookings have already begun in a few parts of Andhra Pradesh for the June 3 paid premieres. Areas like Duggirala and Nellore have reportedly witnessed a decent initial response, with hardcore fans quickly grabbing available tickets. Audiences across other regions are now waiting for bookings to open on major platforms.

However, the real suspense remains in Telangana.

According to industry sources, advance bookings are expected to open by Monday evening at the latest, regardless of whether the TG government approves ticket hikes. If permissions do not arrive, the film is likely to skip premiere shows and release with regular ticket prices, reportedly around Rs. 175 in single screens and Rs. 295 in multiplexes.

If approvals are granted, opening-day prices could rise to nearly Rs. 300 in single screens and Rs. 500 in multiplexes. From the second day onwards, prices will be reduced.

Interestingly, Mythri Movie Makers, which is handling the Nizam release, appears keen to avoid the uncertainty that reportedly affected Prabhas’ Raja Saab. While the team is willing to wait until the last moment for clarity from the Telangana government, it does not want ticket pricing issues to delay advance bookings.

With only a few days left, Peddi has entered its final countdown. The next 24 to 48 hours could determine whether the film opens with premieres and premium pricing or takes the safer route with regular ticket rates. Either way, this year’s biggest Tollywood release is now just around the corner.
