Student No 1, starring Young Tiger NTR and Gajala, was released on this day (September 27th), in the year 2001. It has been 18 years since then, and fans of the star have been trending the fact like do for all the movie anniversaries of their favourite stars.
However, this time, there is a small sweet surprise. The star of the movie, Jr NTR and the director, SS Rajamouli, shared exclusive pictures recreating on-set captures from the location. The two back then were shooting in Ramoji Film City which is where they are currently situated working on RRR. So, they re-did a couple of stills as it is from the time they were shooting in RFC, now.
Student No 1 marked the first time collaboration of Jr NTR with director SS Rajamouli. It was incidentally the debut movie of the latter. The film turned out to be a game-changer for the actor, and its blockbuster success established him as a star. Rajamouli, however, would have to wait for his second flick, again with Jr NTR, to become a top director.
