Popular Telugu YouTuber Rama Nandana, known as Nandu of Nandu’s World, is facing fresh complaints over allegations related to UK jobs and visa assistance. The latest complaints were reportedly taken to the Telangana CM’s Prajavani programme, adding another development to the case already being investigated by Andhra Pradesh police.
According to the complaints, several people allegedly paid large amounts after being promised jobs and visa-related assistance in the UK. The amounts mentioned by complainants reportedly range from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 95 lakh per person. The complainants have sought action and relief from the authorities.
The latest development comes days after Nandana appeared before Ibrahimpatnam police in connection with an earlier case involving allegations of collecting money by promising overseas employment and visa assistance. She was earlier detained at Hyderabad airport after authorities flagged a Look Out Circular issued in connection with the case.
Nandana has denied having a role in the consultancy operations and has maintained that her husband and others handled those affairs. The couple has also challenged the case legally.
With more complaints now emerging, the investigation is likely to come under greater scrutiny. Authorities will have to establish the number of complainants, the money involved and the exact role of each person named in the allegations.
