Prabhas was like, impressed with Shahid Kapoor’s performance in the teaser of ‘Kabir Singh’ and he opined that Shahid Kapoor did look better than the original. Reportedly, he made a call to Shahid Kapoor and praised the Bollywood star’s performance.
This piece of news was disclosed by Bollywood hairstylist Aalim Hakim who has been working with Prabhas for ‘Saaho’. That means Prabhas has offended Vijay Deverakonda’s cult movie ‘Arjun Reddy’ fans who think that Deverakonda’s performance will be forever treasured and remain unmatched. The thing is, Vijay, owned the character and behaved the same, not even giving us a hint that it was just acting. ‘Arjun Reddy’ is a cult movie in Telugu and anything done in Hindi remake would only make the remake look like a faithful adaptation of the original.
Even the teaser of ‘Kabir Singh’ gave the same impression that the original still remains very special for those who watched the original, though the teaser received good response from the Bollywood audiences. So, it’s hard for them to praise Shahid Kapoor’s performance as the original enjoys a cult fan base.
