The first look poster of Sai Dharam Tej’s new film Prati Roju Pandage is out. The overall feel it generates is that of a fresh family entertaining coming our way.
The combination of director Maruthi and actor Sai Dharam Tej gives the impression that it is going to deliver. Supreme is the current highest-grossing movie in the career of SDT, and with a positive talk, Prati Roju Pandage could outdo that. It is also necessary and critical at this point in their career that they deliver.
However, the lack of clarity with the release date is still baffling. One can’t understand what they are waiting for. Already two films are locked for the Christmas week. So, do they sense a delay? On top of that, there is a Bollywood biggie. Sure, with Geetha Arts and UV Creations backing there will be decent hold in theatres. But, the box office prospects would be reduced unless Prati Roju Pandage has a miracle.
We have to wait and see how long it takes for the makers to announce a release date. Will there be a surprise –like a mid-week festival day release? All we can do right now is wait and watch.
