With the remake of Zanzeer already in action, the leading lady Priyanka Chopra is all set to join the team of cast and crew in Hyderabad this month. About this development, director Apoorva Lakhia said, “We have planned for a 25-day schedule in Hyderabad. We will be going to Hyderabad on November 14th and will be back on December 5. So now Priyanka Chopra will be joining us in Hyderabad and this is her first schedule for ‘Zanjeer’.” He also said that, “We are extremely lucky to have her. It will be fun to work with her.”

Further news about the film consists of Sanjay Dutt joining the team. “As far as Sanjay Dutt is concerned, he will just have a-half-day shoot in Hyderabad. His major portions will be shot in Mumbai in January,” said Lakhia.
The film in question is being produced by Amit Mehra, son of late Prakash Mehrain who originally made the film in 1973. Ram Charan akes the place of Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
