Bramhastra is doing something not many Hindi biggies could do in the recent past – register good advance bookings. While most Hindi biggies couldn’t get off to double digit openings on the first day, Bramhastra’s advance bookings alone have crossed the Rs 10 crores mark.
Incidentally, the film is also registering good bookings even in the Telugu states. The advance bookings for the Telugu version are also impressive.
Well, this clearly suggests that brand Rajamouli is working like a charm in Telugu. Notably, Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t have a breakthrough hit film to win the patronage of the Telugu audience. Same with the director, Ayan. So, the advance bookings trend should be attributed to Rajamouli.
Brand Rajamouli could very well be the reason behind Bramhastra’s super positive trend in the Telugu trend. Else, the good bookings for Telugu version can’t be entirely justified. His star value and the trust Telugu people have in his judgement could be the decisive catalysts for it.
It is true that Bramhastra offers exciting content but Rajamouli factor is the pulling presence here. Of course, there is also Nagarjuna factor as he is playing an important role in the film.
Rajamouli is presenting Bramhastra in Telugu and he also aggressively promoted the film here. Even Jr NTR attended a press meet related to the film. All this appears to have struck a chord with the Telugu audience. The film is now set for release on 9th September and the openings are going to be huge.
