Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa‘ bankrolled by his son Ram Charan under their home banner Konidela Productions is coming to theatres on 2nd October. While there would be no doubts in the Telugu States with regarding to its business, Ram Charan is definitely feeling the heat because of Saaho in the OS.
No one has bought the film yet in the overseas territory causing worry to the makers of the historical movie. ‘Saaho’ has bombed big time in the US and thus, the huge effect on Sye Raa as it has been quoting higher prices. So, there are no takers, as of now.
The fate of Saaho in the overseas is responsible for the buyers staying away from Sye Raa as they are not interested to shell high prices on Sye Raa after being hit by Saaho. At present, Sye Raa is having moderate buzz in the overseas circuit.
Things may change indefinitely but till then, the buyers wouldn’t rush to quote high prices for the overseas rights. The premiere collections and openings of Chiru’s movie would depend on the US market in the Overseas. Let’s wait and see.
