The much-hyped and highly anticipated remake of the 1970s movie ‘Zanjeer’ featuring is surrounded by speculations and gossip. The latest news we heard is that the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan himself encouraged Ram Charan Teja for his character in the movie which was originally played by Bachchan. The renowned actor stated that Ram Charan, who is son of well-known actor Chiranjeevi, is a very capable actor who will do very well.
The movie will hit the screens on 6th September and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is starring as the female lead whilst actor Sanjay Dutt will play the villainous character of ‘Sher Khan’ originally portrayed by the late actor Pran. It is heard that the film’s producers claimed of spending about Rs 2 crore on an action sequence for the movie which involved a huge set with seven cameras created in the Film City.
