As Rana’s Bollywood film ‘Baby’ is nearing release, the promotional activities of the film are in full swing. Interestingly, Rana is finding himself talking more about ‘Baahubali’ while he has been promoting for ‘Baby’. Ofcourse, the magnanimity of the period drama is such that even the Naational media is posing more questions on ‘Baahubali’ rather than for ‘Baby’.
Rana Daggubati is a known name in Bollywood. Though he didn’t score a solo hit there till date, his special characters in a couple of films gave him good exposure. And with ‘Baby’, his exposure is ample for the upcoming ‘Baahubali’ release even. Since ‘Baahubali’ would also go for Hindi version release, the exposure of the lead actors to Bollywood audience is the need of the hour for the makers of the film.
As a director, Rajamouli too is a known and popular face because of the phenomenal ‘Makki’ ( Eega in Telugu). ‘Eega’ earned immense popularity to Rajamouli across the country and also international acclaim. Who remains behind are the lead actors; Prabhas and Anushka Shetty. Prabhas is an unknown face for Bollywood audience.
Though Prabhas tried a cameo in ‘Action Jackson’, that went literally unnoticed and the film’s flop show didn’t allow any focus on Prabhas’ Bollywood debut. Now it has become very essential that ‘Baahubali’ creative team should ensure Prabhas also becomes a known face for Bollywood audience. From our side we can suggest Akhil Akkineni’s type of popularity through advertisments as it is unlikely that Prabhas can get to do another cameo in a Bollywood movie.
