The Bengaluru police raided a rave party in the Electronic City area during the early hours of Sunday. Along with a significant amount of drugs, the police have taken a few influential individuals, IT employees and Tollywood actors into custody.
The police have raided a farmhouse in the Electronic City upon receiving a tip-off. In the raid, the cops seized various kinds of drugs, including 17 MDMA pills and cocaine. Sniffer dogs were used to examine the farmhouse premises.
Reportedly, the party was masked as a birthday celebration with over 100 attendees from Telugu and Karnataka. There are also 25 women attendees at the party.
According to the police, the party occurred between 5 pm on May 18 and 6 am on May 19. Allegedly, it was hosted by a Hyderabad-based individual. A car owned by an AP MLA was also found at the farmhouse. More than 15 luxury brand cars were spotted at the venue.
The police have taken a few attendees into custody. Reportedly, the accused individuals include models and actors from the Telugu television industry.
The police have registered the case and the investigation is underway. They are in the process of taking other attendees into custody.
